SiteTalk Outstanding Achievement Reward 2010 (SOAR)
– Will you be rewarded in 2011?
We know in SiteTalk and Unaico that when everyone contributes everyone benefits , that is why the team spirit is crucial to our success, that is why we consider ourselves a family. What we do as individuals within our company affects us all, and when we pull together we can reach much farther. Still there are some outstanding individuals that in their position pull more weight than other. These are personalities who inspire their colleagues and workmates with their spirit and effort. These individuals make us all work even harder as they set an example to follow. Their strength becomes our strength as a company.
That is why we for the year 2010 will reward some of these extraordinary hard working people among us in our staff, because they deserve it and because they are a gift to us all. The SiteTalk Outstanding Achievement Reward will be handed out at the SiteTalk – Unaico Global Convention in Slovenia in March this year.
So let this inspire you and your efforts in the year 2011, because whether your effort will earn you a reward for outstanding achievement or not, you will be rewarded from the work you put into your own future, and if you do your best you might be one of the best. So get going, nothing is holding you back from reaching your goals and the year has just begun - the race is on!
Dan Andersson ponders the New Year 2011 – I believe
Dear all,
At the beginning of a new year we can let ourselves be reminded that we are beings that live in a stream of time. Upstream is where we have been before and downstream is where we are heading. As self-directed and goal-driven individuals we don’t like to think that luck comes into it, but of course it does.
The day back in 2009 when Thomas Nordlund asked me to fly in and meet Jarle Thorsen was indeed very lucky for me. It just came to me, the same as for all of you:
One moment you knew nothing about Unaico, the next you had been introduced to it. But what happens next is the thing that really interests me:
What makes a person decide to get involved and do something with it, while another person lets the chance pass? Because this point is where it changes from luck and circumstance and becomes decision and, ultimately, destiny.
What’s the difference between those who make the different choices? I was pondering these things as I was in New York with my wife celebrating her birthday and New Years Eve. We were walking past Macy’s, the world’s largest department store, and there on the side of the building was Macy’s season greeting:
“Believe”
Which struck me in a moment of clarity as the answer.
When I met Jarle, Thomas, Kenny and the initial investors, I... believed.
When a leader walks across the stage and receives his Thailand villa, her €100,000 cheque, his Rolex, you can bet your last dollar (as they would say in New York) that they... believed.
And if I can do anything for you, as the President of this amazing group of companies, now as we start 2011,anything at all to make a difference to you and your life, it would be this: I would ask you to... believe.
I would ask you to believe that a brand new upstart company could grow fast and beat the big boys at their own game.
I would ask you to believe that we really are passionate about our business model and how cool we think it is to share the wealth.
I would ask you to share my deeply internalised realisation that anyone can be successful with Unaico - truly,it does not matter who you are - the only thing that matters is what you do. Starting with... believe.
Believe in this company. We are a passionate bunch of hard working people, at every level of this company, and we care about the success of every one of our people.
Believe in this business model. We have laid the foundations -- now we will go forward fast.
Believe in yourself. You can do it.
Believing is an act of faith, a decision, something you do. Not something that happens to you. Do it and see how it will change everything for you in this coming year. With my very best wishes for 2011
